Trains are great. Only 4 star rating because one train came … Trains are great. Only 4 star rating because one train came with holes leaking tons of sawdust everywhere and another came with a chunk missing.
Tip over way too easy. The cars are top heavy and really don’t work well on the table top train set we got the kids. The cars fall over so much that the kids don’t use them and stick with the other cars that came with the table top train set. They need to add weight to the bottom of the cars for them to work on tracks.Now on the short nap rug they work better but still fall over more then the other brands.Pros – the magnets work great and the paint is durable.
Tip over on curves. Very disappointed in this Melissa and Doug product. Most of their products are exceptional. However, these wooden train cars are too tall. They are top heavy and tip over easily. If used on only straight track, they usually stay on the track, but going around a curve causes them to fall off the track.
