This was a great addition. I love Melissa and Doug products My Granddaughter loves this…She has her own little kitchen area in the real kitchen and she “bakes” with her mom. So cute (She is 5) She has the chef’s hat and an apron and a tea set along with food and plates, etc. This was a great addition. I love Melissa and Doug products. Well made and reliable.
Lots of Fun We love Melissa and Doug products. This set imparticar is awesome and very durable. It comes with a cake recipe card and I love that my 5 year old daughter is Learning to follow recipe directions while playing. The dial on the side is adjustable for “speed”. This is all manual, but being able to adjust it adds an extra layer of play. Lots of fun and my daughter had enjoyed this on her own as with me.
My boys will not put it down! My boys love to play cook so much! They watch and help me all the time. We previously had a plastic electric toy mixer that did not hold up. They loved it to death (which took mere weeks). They recently realized that mom snuck it away so I went looking for something sturdier. This set was perfect, not only is the wood mixer much stupider than the previous ones it has wood ingredients for a cake! I bought two so there would be less fighting. The kids adore them! They are constantly making cakes…
