These aren’t wood. The are wood-backed. These magnets are really cute, and my one year-old loves playing with them. They’ve helped me teach him to identify different animals. There’s a nice mix of farm and jungle animals. My only (major) gripe with them — these aren’t just wooden, as advertised. The animal prints are cardboard, and it doesn’t have a protective coating. As soon as they get wet (washing, teething, etc.) the print starts to deteriorate. They need some laminate or modge podge or something to keep them looking pristine…
Got these in the mail today. Put them on … Got these in the mail today. Put them on the fridge and within 10min of my little one playing with them on the fridge one of the stickers peeled off! Not worth spending the money if they don’t last more then 10min!
Sub-Standard I am so disappointed in Melissa & Doug. I ordered these on September 19 for my daughter’s 1st birthday. So, we have had them a little less than a month. They colors are bright and they appeared to be of good quality. She loves them. They live on the bottom-half of our fridge and we have a great time talking about the different animals.
