Fun, Entertaining and Skill-Building Really fun, colorful, and easy-to-cut-out images for a 4-year-old to enjoy. I didn’t like the scissors very well, so I had already ordered the Fiskars child-friendly safety scissors for my granddaughter to use. She had a wonderful time with this activity, with many more hours yet to enjoy them whenever she visits. Missing page and scissors aren’t great. We received this book and scissors shrink-wrapped in plastic, but when we opened the 20 page book we were disappointed to find we were completely missing a page (the spiral snake cutout). The rest of the project pages are cute and good practice for a preschooler. The plastic scissors cut OK when held exactly perpendicular to the paper, but tilt them to either side and the paper folds over and doesn’t cut, or you end up with a frayed rip-cut.
