Lots of blocks, but too many small ones! Our son received a John Deer dump truck with a few Megablocks as a starter kit and he was having so much fun learning to build, we decided to order some more. While the blocks are durable and he’s enjoying the additional pieces, there are far too many of the smallest blocks.
Right Quantity For Multiple Kids But Disproportionate Mix Of Blocks I was debating between purchasing the 80 or 160 quantity Mega Bloks for my 1 year old and a 2 year old boys. I’m glad I purchased the 160 block bag. With 160 blocks, multiple kids can play and build while minimizing the chance they will run out blocks although they do run out of foundation blocks.
Great blocks – but know that Mega Bloks come in different sizes and they don’t all work together My daughter loves these blocks and so do I. This set – part of the “First Builders” line – contains large blocks that do not pose any choking hazard. The bloks are vibrant colors and interlock very well for sturdy building. Also, this set is a good value – lots of blocks for the money and you’ll want a lot to make larger structures. The one thing I’d point out is that Mega Bloks do come in different sizes and they are not all compatible with each other. Knowing how much my daughter…
