Hugely disappointing toy Got these as a birthday gift for my 5 year old twins. They were very excited to play with these. The first disappointment was that it required a total of 10 AA batteries. But what was hugely disappointing was that after working for a couple of days one of the cars would just won’t work while the other just ate up all the batteries. Changed the batteries on the one that worked but that also stopped working completely after a day. 2 days and 10 batteries and cars that don’t even work…hmmm…
… was hoping with Little Tikes the quality would be better than the other bumper cars I got the kids … I was hoping with Little Tikes the quality would be better than the other bumper cars I got the kids for Christmas. But they are no better. Blue one just works off and on and when it does work and goes around in circles instead of going straight even though I’ve pushed the two front levers properly. Red one works okay accept it the driver will not click into the seat like it should
Buyer Beware: Swallows Batteries Whole Though the controls for these things are junk, there is fun to be had. My kid loves them. Sure, the little dudes barely pop out when the mechanism in the wheels is triggered but still, pretty fun. The big issue here is these things are a total battery suck. Used these for twenty minutes the day after Christmas, made sure everything was turned off, and put them away. Went to play with them the next day, totally dead. Unscrewed the battery compartments and basically threw $6 in the trash…
