Mom of 3 young boys says:

Can be frustrating but end product is cool! I put this together with my 7 year old son. It took several hours. It was fun, but also very frustrating at times. My 7 year old grew tired of it pretty quickly, asking several times when we’d be done. Usually he has a pretty long attention span for these sorts of things. I think one issue is that the pieces are very small to connect and your fingers start hurting after awhile from pushing them together. Particularly when trying to attach the looping tracks to the structure it is difficult to…

Cool, but…anticlimactic This was my first exposure to regular k’nex (I’m used to the chunky little kid pieces) and I was flabbergasted at how teeny tiny the pieces are. How do people not loose these pieces? They are frustratingly small. But whatever, if you’re a k’nex user, then this is no surprise. The rollercoaster is pretty cool. It’s fun to build, just like lego sets or anything else of this style. There were a couple pieces that didn’t want to stay in place that I actually had to use tape on, but…

Ken Fontenot says:

The product is listed as ages seven to twelve, but I believe that kids on the younger end of the spectrum might find this build a little frustrating. My son took his time and had no major problems with putting the pieces together or finding what piece went where during the build. The coaster is pulled up the vertical track by a motorized guide that’s similar to…
