My Son Loves Them! I bought these for my 10 year old son for Christmas. The hope was that I would get him away from his electronic devices. It worked!Him and his sister have been building things for a few hours. They have not tried building anything from the manual but they are having fun creating their own things. A bit tricky to build, but worth it There were a couple of spots in the instructions that made this a bit tricky to build, but once we figured out that some pieces slide into other pieces on a 90 degree angle, it became easy.My kids are used to lego where the instructions are very clear and step by step. Great Toy and good STEM teaching tool! Pros: Nice teaching tool for kids learning about gears.Cons:1. Not enough gears in the kit. Only 5 gears of the total 140+ parts2. The booklet doesn’t have all the plans.Makes a great addition to a Knex tub.
