Hammers for hammering Four great little hammers for hammering. We used these to hammer golf tees into stryofoam and they worked great. Funny how hard it was to find small plastic hammers for sale by themselves.
Works for what I needed I ordered these for our church nursery’s “Noah” curriculum (the kids “hammer” blocks of wood while learning about Noah). While they wouldn’t hold up for everyday play use, they are fine for what I needed-once a week use for a few minutes each time. They are the perfect size for a toddler’s hand, and are not heavy so that they will cause an injury if a toddler strays from the block of wood to their neighbor. 🙂
Just what I wanted for preschool activity! I bought three sets of these for a preschool activity. Give the kids styrofoam (recycle from shipping materials!), golf tees, and these hammers. Let them build a “house.” You can find fun building songs to go with the activity. These little plastic hammers work great for this activity. Keeps kids busy, productive, and having fun for a good 10-15 minutes…a good opening or rhythm activity.
