Do you like stress? Well you found the right game! Twilight Struggle is like running a marathon, every step is work but when you finish, hot dog do you feel like you achieved something. The game takes anywhere from 3-4 hours to complete (for my group). Great, but polarizing, game! This is a polarizing game. My wife hates it, I love it, but I’m the one rating it, so five stars it is.Cons:Game play is difficult to describe, the rules aren’t overly obtuse but also aren’t intuitive, making teaching the game to new players challenging. Strategy takes multiple games to develop, so the first couple of games may feel a bit nebulous. Poor choices can be punishing, bad choices can be irrecoverable. I love this game I love this game!!!!! I first heard about it from an ex a while back who thought it would be a great game for us to play. And let me tell you I’m glad he told me about this game, as someone who has a unique interest with Russia I was so thrilled to see the layering and the focus that this game requires.
