Great Concept ……. Poor Quality Junk Thought this was a great idea for my 6 year old as he is a budding engineer. We received the kit as a gift for his B-day and it was what he immediately wanted to open. There were missing parts and the power source has a soldered breaker that was permanently open. Looks rugged but is made in China junk!!!
It’s a great idea, but poor quality control It’s a great idea, but poor quality control. We have had a number of pieces having connectivity problems (i.e. the circuit starts working when you press random connection points). It’s not 1 particular piece, but a number of pieces and it’s impossible to determine which piece is faulty. I e-mailed the company directly asking for a replacement, no one responded my e-mail. Bought this for my 5 year old and he loves it. It is a little advanced for him, but with minimal help from his 7 year old brother or myself, he can get it.This has loads of lights and a fan motor (that you can make “take off” if you choose).You can also hook your phone or other music/sound player to this, although the speaker is less barely “okay” quality.I have had, in the past,…
