My five-year-old beat me at my own game I remember playing the original Dungeon! board game back at my neighbor Kenny’s house. It served as a great recruiting tool for my elementary school friends to get them into playing Dungeons & Dragons later. Over thirty years later, I played this latest iteration with my five-year-old son.

Great remake of Dungeon! This remake is based off the late 70’s early 80’s Dungeon board game which I feel had the best dungeon layout (maze) and creaturestreasures. They also improved it by placing various helpful charts on the board itself and made things a lot easier and less of an effort to do (such as keeping track of unbeaten creatures).

Fun game, decent quality, rules are missing a few details I also played the old ’80s version, and this is a good rendition of it. It’s just as fun for two players as it is for more, and it is super-simple to learn. The build quality is mostly good, but the individual player tokens and the cards are a little sub-par. That said, the price is low, and the build quality of the board and the rest of the tokens are great – what you might expect from your average Eurogame.
