Conductor Carl train sets use single piece construction train track. Many of our competitors use pegs for all of their track as the connecting piece. We use it on only a few select custom pieces, but our standard track pieces are all single pieces. Single piece construction track also results in a snug fit which ensures trains do not hop off the track. Good set! Very cute train set with a lot of fun pieces. The reason ive only given it 3 stars is due to it arriving with a broken piece (green section to the bridge) and several track pieces that look like there was water damage. Amazon wanted to charge me to send it back (even though it’s a Prime item) so we are just going to keep it. We modified the bridge part so that my son could still play with it.
Great Deal, Sturdy Product! This was for my classroom. The kids love it! They haven’t stopped playing with it since we got it. I like that there were a lot of cars and trains included. They want more tracks now, but overall, this was a great purchase. There are many train sets out there that sell for the same price but have 50% less cars/tracks/other items. This is the best deal I’ve found so far, and because it’s wooden, it’s kid-friendly and should last long.
The parts all looked good & my grandsons loved them The parts all looked good & my grandsons loved them. All the little items filled in what they did not have.The literature stated that the track was compatible with Thomas the little Green engine track but the male and did not fit into the Thomas track easily. The shape was a bit different. The end was founded and needed to be pressed on hard. An adult was needed for this to work. All in all it worked but I will be more careful the next time I press Carl’s tracks. If someone could call me…
