it was all good reinforced nylon and the fit and finish in assembly … Can’t complain. My 2 year old and I have put this machine to the test. It’s ran through tall grass, up and down hills, and all over the countryside. It may not be the fastest machine on the block, but it doesn’t quit. I have upgraded the stock 7AH battery to twin 12AH units as there’s a precast 2nd battery housing in the passenger side engine bay, and I routed the radio antenna up through the windshield housing which greatly improved the radio reception. Somewhat Flimsy… Well, for starters the front right wheel started to peel apart (the wheel comes pre-assembled but it is two halves simply pressed together), and shortly completely pulled apart. Simple fix, glue it. It broke open again. Went to return it and would have had to pay well over $100 for shipping as S/H is not covered. I used 6 long screws and nuts to keep the halves together and the vibrations from driving eventually shook the nuts off. So I combined the ideas, got more nuts and tightened them all…
Overall very good quality and value for the money! Just gave this to my son for his 2nd Birthday and he is in heaven! He hasn’t quite figured out how to to use the pedal and steering wheel together but he will eventually. What sold me on this unit was the overall look, bang for buck and the parental remote control. The LED lights give an authentic feel and he already loves the little radio with built in music and auxiliary jack. Overall very good quality!
