the track is works fine and is difficult to put together bought the train for my 4 year old. the track is works fine and is difficult to put together, its an absolute must to use the snaps the hold the the track together. about 2 hours of train use the speed controller stopped working. bought a new one for 35 and it works fine. the light on the coal car never worked out of package. the sound works great but a whistle would have been a nice addition. the steam is not what i expected but it does work. its a pain getting the train on the track…
I am very pleased with the train set I ordered this train set use around the Christmas Tree. I am very pleased with the train set. It ran perfectly right out of the box. This set added a great touch to our Christmas Tree during the holidays, so much so that we have a new family tradition. We have had no issues with the train set and have used it 3-4 hours per day during the month of a December 2016, only adding alittle oil as needed. I fully recommend this this train set.
Good Christmas train for user $200 I purchased for $159.99 with Amazon Prime shipping just couldn’t resist. I have other Bachmann Christmas trains in G-scale and this set fits perfectly. The loco isn’t as nice as the North Star Express, Wonderland or White Christmas sets but it’s got the same good under carriage just with more plastic detail parts then others I listed.
