Complete Garbage! After many reliable years, my HO scale train that operates all December under my Christmas tree finally died. I figured I would try out a new set, and this one looked great with the Christmas theme and detailed cars.Unfortunately it is a complete piece of garbage.Two days after opening this product, I am finding that the engine constantly de-rails, and the cars come detached from each other. This is an excellent train for a city we were mounting in this … This is an excellent train for a city we were mounting in this x-mas.., its very easy to assemble.., the rails comes with a insert and done mechanism, its very nice to see it around the town, its powered by 110V so the train doesn’t need batteries.. the control have a knob so you can adjust the velocity of the train and you can make it run in reverse.. the wagons are very well constructed, but have parts that could broken very easily, so i don’t recommend this for children.
good looking train, derailed sometimes , died after 3 Christmas. Ran for 3 Christmas, have to lubed the tracks last time for it to run. good look. This year set it up, locomotive ran 2 circle then I stop it, 1 hour later I restart it , locomotive made noise no wheel turning, cleaned track and wheel but no help, just 3 Christmas then die. Locomotive cost like the whole set, too expensive to replace just locomotive, Batchman had bad market business practice.
