Pepper and Salt – Minus the salt. The core game is very solid as a stand-along game and the two expansions currently available for Seasons add only marginally to the game-play. I really like that there are new and more cards to add to the game. The option to have an enchantment card that is in play for the entire game doesn’t really seem to make the game substantially more that what it was (making it essentially more difficult or easier to amass crystals (victory points)).For the additional cards the expansion gets…
I love Seasons, but this expansion should be $15 I love Seasons, but this expansion should be $15. The new cards and abilities are great, but tacking on new rules (like only playing 1 card a round) doesn’t add fun to a game.
This expansion is an excellent addition to the base game This expansion is an excellent addition to the base game. My husband and I play this a lot together. The cards in the expansion are most valuable to us. We don’t always use the enchantment cards, but they are a nice way to spice things up. If you like the base game, you should invest in this expansion as well.
