While Belle is pretty, the make-up features do not work While Belle is pretty, the make-up features do not work, which is a large part of the toy. I am super disappointed in this. I followed the instructions, and while the nail polish would change, it went right back to dark pink. I couldn’t get the eye shadow or lipstick to change. Called the company “Who stands by their products” and the hoops you have to jump through are insane, not to mention I just bought this toy for my daughter for Christmas, Luckily Amazon stepped in and fixed…
Hair is less full than it appears, but that’s … Hair is less full than it appears, but that’s not a deal breaker. However, the color change function doesn’t work at all. Her lips arrived fuschia and we applied the ice water, but it just became a salmon/fuschia camouflage disaster. The nails are two-tone, as well. It is larger than I expected, but I would prefer it have been smaller and have worked as expected. I will be contacted the seller for a replacement and I will update as I see fit.
Color Change DOES work with this trick. MUST READ!! Like most of the reviews I was highly disappointed that the color change feature not working. Today we contacted the manufacturer direct to make a complaint and they informed us that the doll head comes in an activated mode. You need to take a warm wash cloth to wipe it off. THEN you can get ICE COLD water to do the color changes again. This worked out well and now we don’t have issues. Hope this works for you too. I just wish they’d put that on some instructions or on the outside…
