Good Idea, Poor Execution First off, this castle gets 3 stars, not lower, because my twins love it. They love pushing it down into a compact state and watching it rise. They love the “magical” sound effects. They love the “magic” wand and the “magic” incantation that “makes” the castle rise. This folds down into a nice compact size. It operates on 3 double-A batteries.
A lot smaller than I thought but daughter loves it…. For some reason when I ordered this I thought it would be a lot bigger than it is. The price was not on the page at the time but it just seemed like it would be bigger. When I received it, I was very surprised at how small it is. Think of medium music box. Fun!! I don’t know who is more excited about this toy, me or my granddaughter. She loves the movie Frozen and this was a big deal for her. My grandbaby loves to watch the castle rise up and down and also loves the characters, Elsa and Olaf. Elsa has an extra dress and there are many other extras to add to her clothes and hair. My grandchild is 4, but I still worry about all the very small pieces that could become a choking hazard and would not recommend allowing a child 4 or under to play…
