A more accessible version of Codenames The original Codenames is a great game – easy to learn and plays well with 2 to 10 players (best with 6/8). However, it is obviously a language dependent game. In fact, most word games with clue cards (Telestrations, Pictionary, etc) are difficult to find in any language but English. What makes Codenames Pictures great is it’s the same game – same rules – but now it is accessible to players in any language. Definitely recommended.

Great iteretion of a nice game Great iteretion of a nice game. The change from words to pictures reduced most of the language dependency to play with foreigners (the still need to know the meaning of the clues). I believe it is more difficult to connect more cards, and that is a good challenge. I think it is one of the best party games of the moment.
