Nice toy The most important thing you need to know about this toy is that there is a 2 inch narrow plastic taped to the bottom of the register that must be removed in order for the cash register drawer to open. This fact is not mentioned anywhere on the box/instructions. Thank goodness another review mentions this on another model. The frustration caused the one star reduction.
Remove the taped piece of plastic from underneath for the drawer to work !!!!! This made a 4 year old girl very happy, once we figured out (thanks to the other review here) that you need to remove a TAPED PIECE OF PLASTIC from the underside of the register in order for the drawer to open. My daughter was in tears trying to get the drawer open and thought she had gotten a “broken one” as a gift. I did too, until I found the other review here. Drawer very hard to open So cute and my daughter would love it but the drawer is so hard to open. The plastic piece on the bottom has been removed and we tried changing the batteries. The drawer does not easily open. It takes an adult five minutes of trying to get it open. By that point she has moved on and doesn’t care. She would love it if it worked properly.
