Nice car, ok performance, lousy remote The car seems to be well constructed and it looks great. There are some weak points that are easily broken (i.e. tail). Other RCs we have, though smaller, are faster and more nimble – a disappointment considering this one uses 5 AA batteries and not 4 as the smaller ones do. BTW, 5 batteries is a hassle when it comes to recharging. The remote is this car’s weak point (and perhaps the reason it is not pictured on Amazon). First, the controls are “press and click” type, not joystick…
Very happy with this car I bought this car for my son’s 4th birthday. I am very happy with its build quality and performance, especially for the price point. It’s an appropriate toy for a 4 year old. My son thoroughly enjoys playing with it. So far it’s durability has been very good, considering the number of times it has been driven into walls etc.
Great toy for a boy who likes cars a lot! I purchased the Porsche 911 GT3 RS RC RTR Black for my 6 years old. I have to admit that it is a very cool toy. It looks nice and it seems high quality. After three months it is missing some little details from all the crashes that is went through, but it holds up well. My son was extremely happy that the car has head and tail lights. He loves it!A little pricey, but it makes for a great gift.
