Lagoon is the first world that ever was. Boundless spiritual energy flows through the land, and is the source of all the world’s magic. All was in balance, until divinity was split by the rise of humanity into three energies that now vie for dominion of Lagoon: Element is the energy of the spirit, Vowelon is the energy of the heart, and Deonin is the energy of the mind. In the end, one of these three energies will become Lagoon’s destiny. It is up to humanity’s druids to unify Lagoon. Lagoon: Land of Druids is a game about forging the destiny of a world. Lead your circle of druids in search of enchanted sites that offer magic powers, and use them to bend destiny. Each site is aligned with one of three divine energies. You will alter the balance of power among these energies by exploring new sites, adding them to the board, and by magically unraveling sites, removing them from the board. At the end of the game, the energy with the most sites in play becomes Lagoon’s destiny. Position yourself on the right side of destiny, and you win!

Very Dynamic and Strategy Heavy Game I’ve played this game a few times since I’ve gotten it, and I like it more every time. The lingo in the instructions can be a little confusing, and there is a lot to pay attention to once you are deep into the game, so it takes a few plays through before you understand the basics inherently enough to actually come up with a decent strategy….which is something I really like about the game. There’s also a lot of potential for future expansions, which I’m already excited about.

Beautiful, simple to learn – yet lots of replay value This is a surprisingly successful game at being both simple and complex. The rules are relatively straightforward, but the strategy is difficult to master, and the variation is significant, as a different set of tiles is played with each game (and opponents all have different strategies). It’s got tile-laying, rock-paper-scissors, worker placement, and abstract strategy components to it, but it does so in its own interesting way. The best part is you’re not sure which force (red-blue-yellow) is…

Great game for two people! This game is strategic, beautiful, and fun to play. My husband usually doesnt like to play board games without more people. This game is actually made for two or three players. It can be played in 30-45 minutes so we can play it on a weeknight. I would definitely recommend this game and bought one for our best friends.
