Minimal value compared to basic sets I’m a big fan of the Mega Bloks for young toddlers. The size is right for little hands and are impossible to choke on. The durability is great.
Slightly Disappointing for Mega Bloks We have quite a few Mega Bloks toys and this while slightly disappoints. While I loved that it resembles a train and rolls well on almost all surfaces, (it didn’t roll so well on our carpet) the storage container was a huge disappointment. I would have much preferred if they had stored them in the bags with zippers like a few of our older ones, or maybe in a more heavy duty container. I plan on just using a different container to store them.
Good variety of colorful pieces in a variety of shapes, complements other kits well Before receiving this Learning Train set, my daughter was fond of playing with her other Mega Bloks set (the standard building bag available [[ASIN B007GE75HY:here]]), which included just unadorned building blocks and one wheeled block. This set has dramatically increased her enjoyment of Mega Blocks, because of the additional wheeled blocks (there are three train cars, each a half-height 2×4 block with wheels and a hook on one end and an eye on the other for attaching them into a line), and…
