A terrorist is wreaking havoc in Europe. Every time the terrorist leaves a city there is the possibility he has left a bomb, trap, or recruiting cell. If Interpol does not find the bomb before it detonates, then the terrorist makes progress toward his goal of instilling fear across Europe. The job of Interpol is to coordinate the efforts of Secret Agents, Bomb Squad, Special Forces, and an Informant Network to stop the terrorist from accomplishing his goal. It will take the combined special abilities of each Operative and the Informant Network for Interpol to win. During the game, one player plays as the terrorist and tries to elude the operatives chasing him. With hidden movement cards, traps, bombs and recruiting cells to use, he tries to outmaneuver his opponents and stay one step ahead of them. The operatives goal is to catch the terrorist and defeat him in combat. Along the way, they want to avoid traps, defuse bombs, and defeat any recruiting cells the terrorist puts in their way. But the operatives have to be careful. If they get too spread out, the terrorist might attack and defeat them while they are isolated.

The thrill of the hunt, the excitement of hide-and-seek…in a boardgame! Full Disclosure: I was given a copy of the game by the designer to play and review for boardgamegeek.com (User: Malacandra). But I’ve got a play count of 37 which should probably indicate we enjoy the game. The game is a very challenging “hide and seek” game in the vein of “Scotland Yard,” “New York Chase,” or “Fury of Dracula.” Complexity-wise it stands between the first two and the third. The gist is that you are chasing down the terrorist who uses…

A Lot of Luck, But Fun Viktory: Terror in Europe from Morrison Games is a game of hidden movement and deduction. One player takes on the role of the Terrorist while up to three others take on the roles of the operatives- a Bomb Disposal officer, a Secret Agent, and the Special Forces officer. The gameboard is a map of Europe and North Africa divided into different regions by color. The Terrorist lays a card face down on the board and plants one of several nasty surprises upon it, also face down, including bombs…

Great game! Replayability:The game has well balanced play that keeps it moving. No matter what role you take on, you will find something to keep you coming back.Playing as the Operatives:It is fun teaming up with the forces of law and order to track down and eliminate the terrorist. It gives a strong sense of accomplishment as you work together as a team, not merely each individually trying to catch the terrorist but moving the right person to the right city to eliminate what the…
